Can we make the fujirockers' train happen?
We are considering chartering a train somehow to get those from western Japan to FRF in the most economical way. It's been a while since we got the questionnaire in action, so here's the lowdown from Mr. Nambu at smash-west.
We've got to find at least 300 people to make this project real - a tough order. But, as ORG-master, I'm determined to see it happen. Whatever the go, the following is a "not to be missed" update from Mr. Nambu for all those who are getting geared up for the trip to FRF.

Let me thank all those of you who answered the questionnaire on the plans for a special night train to FRF. The information is invaluable in making this plan a reality.
First of all, we would like to apologize for any delay in making our final decision. We haven't fixed the announcement date, so there must be a lot of fuji rockers waiting for the information.
There is one more thing I would like you to note. This project was conceived by smash-west, and is not official. Regarding the accommodation, please note that the Naeba Prince Hotel, Smash's official FRF TOUR CENTER HOTEL, is not included.
Especially for the people who chose the option, "Definitely use
the package with a hotel", may be expecting the Naeba Prince Hotel, but let me take this opportunity to clarify the fact that this is not the case.
The travel agency that we work with has already stated that we have been given the OK from JR-west on the train route. However, the timetable, the most important thing, will be fixed on April 15. The problem is not the departure time from this end, but returning at the end of the last day. On the last day the headliner finish playing at around 11pm. The shuttle buses will then take festival goers to Echigo-Yuzawa, arriving at about 0:30am. From there, the homebound train will leave around 1am. Plus, there's the possibility of delay somewhere along the line, with buses etc. We have to negotiate with JR-west whether it's possible to accommodate such scenarios, and whether JR-west is flexible in response.
Whatever the case, all we can do now is wait for the final decision. Please be patient until
the announcement which we will be made as soon as possible.
