Since Taisho is quite a busy guy, he rarely writes. However, I finally got a message from him with the comment along the lines of: "Although this article is for a free paper in Osaka issued on March 1st, upload this as a message from me for Fujirockers.org with some excuse."
For your information, the mail address to Taisho there was no specific e-mail address listed, even though he mentioned it in the message. Therefore, please post your message on Together BBS if you have something to say. Taisho will check it later.
By the way, the discount tickets will be on sale form , 16th of March and if you wanted to check the details, maybe you can get some information at Smash-uk.com. comment by ORG-master (Feb 21, 2002)
------------
I'd like to know how many people had fun at the Circus Of Horrors last year. I'm waiting for some feedback (pro or con) from readers, since I'm still considering whether or not the circus should be a part this year. Write me back with your comments, queries, mail-bombs and various e-threats.
Meanwhile, I thought you'd like to know that I tried out the "Dragondola" in Naeba. My investigation of this spectacle was inevitable, since it is already built in the midway of Fuji Rock. Although I at first felt unwilling because of my thoughts of the destruction to the mountains, once I did it I changed my mind (some might say that my ability to suddenly change my opinion is an advantage of sorts). The view from the Dragondola was very beautiful. It starts from above of the Oasis Court, with the series of the views up to the Green Stage, White Stage, Avalon Field and the Field of Heaven. The 20 minute-ride brings you to the big rest house. I was thinking that we could do something up there, as well. It takes 40 minutes to get there and back. Would anyone out there be intrested in checking it out? When I rode it there was snow all over the place, but I think it's going to be a different world with the plush, fresh green carpet of summer grass. It's worth considering, keeping in mind that we have to bring people to where the gondola starts.
The lineup hasn't been decided yet. I'm still thinking about it. Please be patient until we send our second set of formal information in April (although I guess you might hear some hints from someone around here).
The whole money thing might be more important. I regret to tell you that the price of the tickets has gone unchanged, but you can buy limited discount tickets for only a short period in March. You buy this discount ticket, however, with the knowledge that you won't know about the artists until April, and you can only get a 3-day ticket. But hey, get a thrill out of it. As for other information, it seems that the tickets sold in April will have a prize included.
Travelling expense and where you stay (there's always the camp site) might concern you, as well. No structural reform, no Fuji Rock revolution, sadly. The related companies have reduced your burden in tears (and I really appreciate it). Please look forward to more formal information and we will explain more about this. So see you all at BIGCAKE in Osaka in the near future.
