I started this series by asking for your Fuji Rock memoirs, because I thought if I update memoirs of your actual Fuji Rock experiences, they will be the more meaningfull for everybody. So, the day after I asked for your reports, I received a letter from 'nevermind', so here it is. By the way, we will continue this series, so please send us anything you deem useful, interseting, important, humorous, outlandish, ridiculous or prepostorous. It doesn't matter how good or bad your writing is. Just send your story the way you would send it to your friends.
Here this is a memoir from 'nevermind'.

---------------------
In 2001, I went to Fuji Rockfor the first time.
The morning of Fuji Rock had arrived at last, and I set off for the night train. I started getting excited, and on the way from Echigo-yuzawa station, the radio was on in the bus playing a Fuji Rock special. The radio show was doing a special on the Manic Street Preachers, and I said to myself, 'Oh my GOD, I'm gonna see such a great band!!'.
When I arrived in Naeba, the campsite was almost full and the good places had already been taken. I looked all over, and finally decided to camp on the slanted place near the woods (laugh). I tried to pitch the tent quickly, but the place was so slanted that I slipped three times. That night, my blanket slid twice (and of course, my body slid with it to the end of the tent). It was very cold when I woke up. BUT I went into woods for a pee and that was fun.
(Stop peeing in the woods. Let's protect the environment!! Please! from Org-master)
I saw so many cool bands, and the party after midnight was the best! Chiba of Michelle Gun Elephant was there, and I enjoyed myself a lot. I was too tired to see the Circus (I regret that). Oasis and Neil Young were great, but I was really looking forward to seeing EMINEM!!!!!!!!!! I really wanted to check him out. And before him, System Of A Down and TOOL were supposed to play and I wanted to see them all. I started waiting in front of the stage when Alec Empire was on stage. Thanks goes out to the guards just before EMINEM started. They were shouting, 'Don't push, don't push!!'. Well... that was the first visit to Japan by EMINEM and I can't believe what I saw!!!!!!! It made a big impression on me.
After the festival finished, I didn't want to go home, so I played in the river. It was cold, but a lot of fun!! As a result, I was exhausted, and on the way back from Echigo-yuzawa station, I didn't want to get on the crowded train, and I decided to take the next train. Then, I found out that the next train was three hours later. All of us were very shocked!!!!!! Reluctantly, I decided to take a limited express train. Thanks to that, the train was very comfortable and I felt refreshed. I can't wait for this year!
Lastly, to the staff of Echigo-yuzawa station, thank you very much for sending my glasses that I left behind at the station.
