Up-to-date information on the Festival site

This is nothing to do with the artists' line-up as such, but pretty important. As far as I know, this is the latest information on the festival site and facilities.

    -Restaurant Area-

A restaurant bar called BIG CAKE, opened last September and run by Smash and a rockin' vocalist Bobby in Osaka, will open a stall in the restaurant area this year. Let's get drunk with its organic wine and we can go to bed without seeing any bands? Maybe that's one of the good ideas to enjoy the festival.

    -Camping Site-

    You hate male rockers?
    All the men are beasts?
If you agree then, I have a good news for those ladies. There will be an WOMEN ONLY camping area, though it won't hold all the ladies in the area. It's 'fisrt come, first served' basis. I hope all the ladies will have a comfortable festival!

    -Circus Stage/'The Palace Of Wonder'-

The name of the area surrounding the circus stage has been decided and it is called 'The Palace Of Wonder'. The stage has become larger than the one originally planned and it will hold about 3000 to 4000 people. The tent will cover only a stage, and you are going to sit or stand or jump up and down or whatever outside.
If you know the festival site well, 'The Palace Of Wonder' will be on the right-hand side of the main gate. So the circus tent will be outside the festival site? Yes, it will be there before you enter the festival site! Why not all of you come by and enjoy the circus!

    -No Horror House this year?-

Bad news for those horror freaks! The Horror House, which was in the Avalon area last year, won't be there this year. As a substitute, there will be a 'Ghost Cafe' in 'The Palace Of Wonder' area this year. It will be produced by the Space Shower TV, the same as last year.

    -Kids Land-

Good news for fujirockin' Mommy & Daddy! What is called the 'Kids Land' is being planned for rockers with kids and it will be on the way in between the Green and the White stage. There will be a tent for a family with kids, and there, you can milk your baby or change babies' nappy. Also, you will have the merry-go-round and small funfairs 'for kids'.

Beer Garden and open air hot spa-

The mission possible dream of , 'Hot-Spa, Onsen, Plan' will come true as an open spa 'Fuji-no-Yu' in the camping site which is opened to only those who have a camping site wrist band. There will be a 'Beer Garden', a Japanglish word for a seasonal bar for summer serving beer mainly, by the 'Fuji-no-Yu'. If there are people drunk too much and act violently, the Garden will be shut immediately.

-Others like 'Fishing Pond' in the south of the Prince Hotel, and 'Las-Vegasize the Naeba Plan, are all under process. Nobody know the details on that though.

That's all for today. Maybe, you were disappointed if you were hungry for the artist info? But do you still want more acts to be added to the bill? Don't be silly, man! Is the line-up not enough? Even after those great acts were announced? I personally think that the rest of the bill should be hidden as secrets. Don't you think it would be great if there are some secret acts only we, the fujirockers, can share there in the site?

    Something pretty important!

Thanks a lot for those great fujirockers on the BBS making a list of must-items for the festival. Like they're sayin', YOU MUST GET WELL PREPARED FOR A BAD WEATHER CONDITION. I know that there is a super convenient weekly weather forecast as such on TV, but don't waste your time checking on it as nobody can have a weekly the weather forecast in mountains and you have to remember Naeba is situated high in mountains. So it is far better and you'd be far clever to prepare for the worst weather.

This is my presonal weather forecast for the end of July in Naeba though, it would be bloody rain for 3 days. I guess I am right and you have to have some gears to protect you from heavy rain and cold weather. Not only the gears, but you should get ready mentaly too. If you have never build a tent in bad weather, I guess it's better having a practice in rain. So why not organizing an offline camping party of fujirockers in rain?

You have to bear in your mind that the weather in a mountain easily changes, to start with. The forecast may be correct in the morning, but in the afternoon, it can suddenly be strong shower or thunder storm. You must bring raincoats or something waterproof to wear even if the weather forecast of the weekend is 'Fine'.
