Another delay of the HP renewal.
The renewal of fujirockers.org should have been finished by the midnight of the 30th, but it was 4am when the renewal actually took effect. I guess there were many people trying to access the site in the middle of the night. So I have to say (though this is the fifth time) I'm really sorry!
We still need to add some new information and the web-site still needs some small changes. Something might still be wrong with this new one. If you find any problems, you can e-mail me directly or leave your message on the VOICE BBS and you will be greatly appreciated. We'll try to solve the problem as soon as possible.
By the way, how the web-site appears on your screen depending on which computer and browser you are using (If you know well about computers, you should know what I'm saying). ORG-master myself is based on the Mac OS9. On my OS, Netscape Communicator 4.7 shows this site quite well. If you are using Internet Explorer, the version 4.5 or 5.0 should show the contents best. Please try several settings if the appearance is not quite right.
I could not make any comment for the Windows' users as I have never use Windows and, therefore, I could not check. But the web-designer did try checking bits and pieces and it should be OK, I guess. But if you have any suggestion to make it better, please let us know.
About MUSIC BBS
Basically, we created this as an alternative to BAND BBS. You can, of course, request your favorite band here for the fest. and you could send your response to those request as such. However the BAND BBS is like a petition to Taisho, the chief producer, and other producers of the several stages and, to make it work, we made a few regulations and if not, a message is written along with the regulations, we have to delete those, but In the MUSIC BBS, you can talk anything about music and bands.
If someone, never heard of Neil young, asks me which albums to be listened to first, I would say... '4 Ways Street' and 'Deja Vu' by CSN&Y and his solo albums 'After The Gold Rush' and 'Harvest'. If you disagree, you tell us what you think on the MUSIC BBS.
Anyway, the main concept of fujirockers.org is "Let's Get Together and Love and Help Each Other", so let's all make great vibes here.
Before closing this updating, this web-site is runed by volunteer staffs but not Smash Co. who organize the festival. Please don't forget this. We have a web designer, a producer giving ideas as such, with a very few staffs doing a report and a research, therefore, please understand that we could not respond to all the e-mails you send to us.
But please remember that you could visit the VOICE BBS and share your questions or answers with other rockers there. The first thing you should do before you ask someone is to find out on your own by checking all of the information we uploaded here as well as visiting Smash UK site. There are many useful pieces of information already on the web-site like previous Fuji Rock Expresses in which you could find quite a lot of reports in English. Many of your problems could be solved and you can learn many things from there. Please don't forget the Do It Yourself spirit and enjoy!
Bye for now, lads!
