The first scoop on acts appearing at Fuji Rock Festival '01!
Hi, guys and grrrls and dogs and cats and whoever or whatever all you fujirockers might be! How are you all doin' anyway? It's about time for us to start rockin' again at this year's Fuji Rock Festival, and to start things off right we're giving both the official FRF homepage and smash-jpn.com a facelift. From 10 pm tonight we'll be relaunching the sites with some extra tidbits about the festival thrown in, so be sure to drop by again and check it out.
We are still working on it, but if you've ever made a homepage you'll know how time these things can take. Sorry 'bout that!
Now hold on to your seat or your hats or whatever you've got handy and get ready to check out this list of acts already officially confirmed for FRF '01.

These are just a few of the 100 or so acts who will be appearing at this year's festival. We will be announcing more shortly - probably around mid March, just before tickets go on sale, but in the meantime you should regularly check the FROM TAISHO section - especially in Japanese, for hints and winks about who else may appearing. Let's see how good you are as detectives...
As I've said elsewhere, we get a lot of hints from Taisho, but sometimes there's simply no way to translate what he says. Sorry 'bout that, too, if you can't read Japanese.
As with last year's festival, there will be a main Green Stage, a secondary White Stage, a small stage in the Field of Heaven and a huge Red Marquee dance tent. This year, if all goes according to plan, we might also have a circus tent, featuring "The Circus of Horrors" from London.
One piece of big news for campers is that there will be an open air hot spa or rotenburo, as we say in Japanese, opened near the camp area. Also as with last year, we will throwing a big pre-festival party on the site on the evening of the 26th, but as yet nobody knows the details. Last year we had three or four bands - there was so much going on nobody is quite sure how many played, and it was free to enter. We can only wonder what's gonna happen this year...
