From Yoyogi, with a French Twist

If you walk around Yoyogi's main thoroughfare, you will find the unobtrusive French restaurant, "A.O.C.YOYOGI". Once stepping inside, the aromas within direct you to a tasty dishes in the kitchen. Time to cue the salivary glands.

The chef's recommendation is "duck leg confit". The organic wild duck's savory roasted exterior gives way to the tender meat underneath. You won't need a knife, since it melts under your fork. Tres bien!! And here's even better news: it's coming to Naeba. So, what we can eat at FRF??

First of all, the libation list will include naturally superior "organic wines" imported by vinbio.co.jp, a company deeply connected with the restaurant. The organic wine is quite sensitive (like its connoisseurs?) and the temperature control is exceedingly difficult. It's the chef's consideration for his guests to keep the bottle chilly - even red wines. He says, "I would like to serve my guests the best conditioned wine"

egarding the food, he's now thinking about bistro-style dishes that are possible to eat handheld, such as pita sandwiches with homemade ham.

The key words here are "French", "wine" and "festival", and the FRF menu will be something that goes with up-tempo music that can be enjoyed with lots of friends. Therefore, perhaps the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra will be an ideal match.

Now perhaps you are wondering about the name. The chef named his restaurant "A.O.C.YOYOGI", because A.O.C. stands for "appellation d'origine controlee", or "specified region limited" in English. Bon appetite for Chef's style!
