FRF '99 Virgin Tent Pyro-man [1999.7.31 00:09] Makoto of Tokyo lit up the pre-midnight crowds with feats of fire-eating, juggeling, jokes, and daredevil pyro-games. The show, a solo act, took place right in front of the Virgin Dance tent. The audience squeeled, cringed, hid behind their friends and ended up applauding as if Makoto were a rock star. When asked, Makoto said Rage was his favorite group here (surprised?), and that he loves the Fuji Rock Festival. It's his first, but he's wanted to come the last two years. He managed to make the trip this time and the response was electric.
